Hey guys, I’ve been cleaning out my shop and selling some old parts that I won’t use. My 351c is no more unfortunately , I thought about listing my 4v heads. They’ve got all the regular machine work done, ported, Ferrara valves, comp 930-16 springs, hardened seats, yada yada. I got to thinking what to ask for them and honestly there’s no way I can’t take a bath selling them.

I picked up a ranchero a while back and put a bone stock 351m with efi in it and it is a blast.

351m and 400 engines are a dime a dozen around here for some reason, there’s 5 on Facebook market place right now within an hour of me.

You can guess where this is going, I was thinking of putting them on a 400 and use one of my small solid cams, maybe a hydraulic roller? Would basically want torque and good vacuum.

Anybody done this, or is it a waste of time?

Sure, why not? If you're gonna go, go big though. A 400 with 4V heads and a good cam/intake would be pretty strong.

I think a 400 with 4v heads would be pretty cool.
