Here are some pics of my 351c powered cars both past and present. First is my 63 Fairlane that I sold in 2013...geez I loved that car. It was my first car ever, a fabricator friend and I built it from the ground up. A fairly simple 351c with OEM stock crank and rods, Crower roller, Weiand tunnel ram with 2 660 center squirters. I only ran it a few times and it went 9.84 at just a tick under 140.

Here's my Pinto (My name is not Mark Smith as it says in the window....that's the previous owner). This one is being built for a local class called 'Pro Stick' which is for clutch cars only. It's an old school car but we've made some changes and updated it along the way. The engine in the pic is an empty block and heads for mock up purposes only. When finished it will be a 'high port' style Cleveland like a 70's Pro Stocker.

Last but not least is my 71 Torino, A factory 302 car then a 351c now a 429SCJ. In the picture here it was motivated by a 351c with 2V heads, Street Dominator intake and 750 Holley. My daily ride in 1989 that ran a 14.0 on this pass. The Mustang in the other lane belongs to a friend and it also had a 351c for power.

Thanks, I love that car....wish I never sold it but that's a different story. It was a 2x3 back half chassis with ladder bars first, then added struts then re-clipped with a Chris Alston Eliminator 2 4-link. House of Kolor candy brandywine paint which was applied by good friend finished it off nicely. I owned it since 1985.....in case it comes up for sale maybe I can get it back? Hope so.

That Fairlane is sharp!

What part of Virginia you in?
They just had a big all stick shift race at Farmington last weekend in NC, and there were 105 stick shift cars there.
