I am in the process of rebuilding my 10 year old 408C stroker engine after a cam failure. Could not find any infos on the old main bearings #FM 3401 CP.
They might be Federal Mogul but google does not find this part number. Furthermore they seem to be very soft.

So what brand should I use? Summit offers 1/2 groove and 3/4 groove, Clevite H and P series, King AM, HP and XP series, Sealed Power and Speed Pro? The engine will be used mainly for street use, 6200 max rpm.

Thanks for your help

Ralf

Federal Mogul 146M for mains and 8-7100CH for rods.
