G,day ,
Have attached dyno sheets, yes cam is about 650 thou net lift.
I shift at 7550 - 7600, go across the line around the same or a smidge higher.
should go quicker now I can get the fuel it needs through the booster, we'll see, as long as this roller cam is a step forward?
Would go quicker if I turned it a bit higher but don't really want to as is still externally balanced,
Cheers

Man thats good power Paul. Our little flat tappet motor with cc heads we figure makes 585. We have been shifting at 7200. I bumped it up 100 rpm and it gained a tenth. Im thinking we under revving the little motor maybe i outa try 7500. Those 2v heads of yours impressive I will say. Never had much to do with them.530 ftlbs is up there to for small cubes. Good work!

That head flow works out to 2.28 hp per cfm. Thats very good.So you up the intake valve to 2.1 from 2.05?

Right on, man. What your thoughts on TFC 4V intake, have one getting ported, my head thinks plenum way to small, thought for motorsport/Roush better? Any experience with running either one?

Gday Tim,
To be honest ive had nothing to do with them on your style deal, i have heard comments about the plenum being a bit small on a decent engine
Id think if you were having it ported and maybe give it a bit of spacer it should be ok.
I wouldn't be afraid of using it.
Bigger manifolds are probably like larger carbs, the dyno peak numbers are always better but in the car the engine won't accelerate as hard off the startline and recover as well after the shift.
Thats were its good to back to back stuff on the dyno and look at averages then do it in the car.
Sorry mate not much help on that one!☺
Cheers
Paul
