....but I'm getting ready to build a 565 inch pulling truck engine for a customer and thought it would be fun to showcase it here. I'll justify it by saying the BBF heads look similar to the 351C heads. :)

The guy needs 1200 hp to be competitive, so this $44k piece will have a new Eliminator block, ported Profiler heads, a sheet metal intake with (2) 1450 cfm Dominator carbs, and a full dry sump oiling system. There will be some details that I won't be able to talk about, but I will be able to show a good bit of the assembly.

What will be fun will be the 7000-9000 rpm operating environment......

Sweet. I dont think there willl be any problem showcasing the Clevelands BIG BROTHER. So how much hp/tq can your dyno handle?

Not mine, but the one I use regularly can go to 1500 hp.

Bryant crankshaft ordered, camshaft ordered, carburetors bought, and block ordered. :)

That was a junk of change right there.

Crankshaft is 16 weeks lead time, so I won't be posting pictures of it anytime soon.

Camshaft is on a 60mm core, with .050" durations hovering around the 300° mark. Lift is *almost* an inch. :)
